Architectural Engineer

CTS Group SA is looking for an experienced, innovative, and resourceful professional to join our team in our office in Lisbon. This position is a full-time position.
Qualifications:
Intermediate Level - Relevant degree and at least 5 years of experience in an Architectural role. International experience is a plus.
Senior Level - Relevant degree and at least 10 years of experience in an Architectural role, with 2+ years of work experience leading the design of data centers or other mission-critical infrastructure and international experience.
Proficiency in English is mandatory. Other languages are also a plus.
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
On-site experience is also a plus.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and high-quality standards.
- Can effectively communicate design concepts and standards to internal and external project partners.
- Possesses strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Has the ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
- Has experience in writing design reports and project documentation.
- Is proficient in BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) to create accurate 3D models and technical drawings.
- Is experienced in liaising with Structural, Civil, and MEP teams.
- Develop architectural concepts and designs from feasibility studies to construction documentation.
- Create detailed architectural layouts for data centers and other industrial facilities.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, industry standards, and sustainability goals.
Tasks:
- Participate in the design from feasibility studies to construction documents. Including writing reports, material specifications and Bill of Quantities.
- Work closely with structural, civil, and MEP engineers to integrate all technical aspects into the design.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Participate in design reviews, presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
- Oversee coordination with planning authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Provide technical guidance during construction to ensure architectural integrity.
- Review and approve contractor work to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
