Digital Build Engineering India is hiring a BIM Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of mission-critical and data centre projects.

The role focuses on electrical BIM modelling, design coordination, clash resolution, drawing production, and information management. The successful candidate will work closely with electrical engineers, architects, structural consultants, mechanical teams, and construction partners.

This is a hybrid full-time role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of BIM or electrical modelling experience.
• At least 2 years of strong Revit MEP experience.
• Experience preparing coordinated construction models and drawings.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems and installation requirements.
• Strong communication skills in English.

We are looking for someone who

• Can create accurate electrical BIM models from design information.
• Understands electrical containment, equipment layouts, and access requirements.
• Can detect and resolve clashes with other disciplines.
• Can manage model revisions and drawing updates.
• Works well in coordinated multidisciplinary environments.
• Can meet model delivery deadlines.
• Can communicate technical issues clearly.

Tasks

• Develop electrical models in Revit MEP.
• Model electrical equipment, switchboards, transformers, generators, UPS systems, busways, cable trays, conduits, and lighting.
• Create plans, sections, details, schedules, and coordinated construction drawings.
• Run clash-detection reviews in Navisworks.
• Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, fire protection, and ELV models.
• Review model quality and naming standards.
• Maintain project templates, families, and shared parameters.
• Support BIM coordination meetings.
• Track clashes and issue resolution.
• Upload and manage models in BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Support quantity extraction and construction documentation.
• Assist engineers with design coordination when required.
