QA Validation Lead

AI outputs that touch live projects need to be validated, not just generated. This role is the technical conscience of the platform — tolerances measured, calibration data real, audit trails complete. No phase exits without your sign-off.

What you will do

• Build and run evaluation harnesses for every AI capability: BoQ tolerance against manual baselines (target ±8%), layout quality, machine-vision accuracy, document linking precision.
• Sign off on PoC exits at every stage gate. If calibration data is not there, the phase does not close.
• Maintain a full audit trail — what was generated, who validated it, what happened next.
• Work with the QS function on commercial tolerance certification and with Commissioning on handover validation.
• Feed validation findings back into constraint solvers, fine-tuning data, and retrieval indices.

Must have

• 7+ years in quality, validation, or test engineering on safety- or commercially-critical AI/ML systems.
• You have built eval harnesses that drove real product decisions — not metrics dashboards nobody reads.
• You understand what certified actually means in construction, manufacturing, or pharma.
• Strong Python and statistics.

Nice to have

• Quantity Surveying or construction commercial background.
• Experience with EU AI Act conformity assessment.
